Bathrooms & wet rooms

Showers that stay watertight, walls that line up.

Full bathrooms, shower rooms and wet rooms: the walls, the floor, the niches and the tanking behind them. Recent jobs include large-format ceramics from Porcelanosa, marble-effect walls with brass trims, and a failed wet room floor lifted and re-tiled.

Kitchen & open-plan floors

Big floors, dead flat, often heated.

Kitchens, diners and extensions, many laid over underfloor heating. When the floor underneath isn't right it gets levelled first, and where old tiles or boards are sound, the new floor can go straight over them.

Hallways & Victorian floors

The first thing anyone sees. Square from the door.

Chequerboard and bordered Victorian-style floors, patterned hallways, marble, front paths and porches. The pattern is set out from the doorway so it reads straight as you walk in, and the border takes up the room's out-of-square walls.

Natural stone & large format

Heavy, unforgiving, and worth it.

Marble, limestone and other natural stone, plus porcelain slabs up to 1200 mm. Big tiles need a flat bed and careful handling, or every edge shows. Recent work includes mitred 1200s on a feature wall and stone round an indoor pool.

Feature walls & patterns

Patterns that run unbroken, corner to corner.

Herringbone, double herringbone, chevron and stack bond: in bathrooms, round fireplaces and on statement walls, plus textured tiles that change with the light. Try any of these layouts in the tile visualiser.

Outdoor & commercial

Out the back, up the steps, into the shop.

Porcelain patios and balconies, front steps and Victorian paths, plus commercial work such as a shop entrance tiled in a pattern made for it, and a school canteen.

Ceramic

Wall tiles, metro, gloss and textured finishes, zellige-look squares.

Porcelain

Hard-wearing floors, wood and stone effects, large formats up to 1200 mm, outdoor slabs.

Natural stone

Marble, limestone and other stone for floors, walls, steps and surrounds.

Do I buy the tiles?

Usually, yes, and you can get advice on what to buy and where. Recent jobs used tiles from Porcelanosa, Capietra, Topps Tiles, Quorn Stone and Discount Ceramics Leicester.

How much will my job cost?

Every job is priced after it has been seen. The prices on this site are estimates to help you plan, not quotes. For a rough figure for your room, try the calculator in the tile visualiser.

Can you tile over my existing floor?

Sometimes. If the old tiles or boards are sound and flat, tiling over them can work, as on one customer's ground floor, which went over both old tiles and a wooden floor. If not, they come up and the floor is levelled first.

How soon can you start?

Good tilers get booked up, so message early. One customer called the result “totally worth the little wait”.

When can I reach you?

Monday to Friday 7am–7pm, and Saturday and Sunday 9am–1pm, as listed on Google. WhatsApp messages can be sent any time.
